Scalloped Pineapple

1 #2 can crushed pineapple (undrained)
1/2 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
8 slices bread (cubed)

Cream butter and sugar, or you can brown the butter first. Add eggs (well beaten). Add pineapple and bread. Mix. Bake for 45 minutes at 350. Uncover the last 15 minutes. Bake in a 6x10-inch pan.
