1/2 c. butter
2 T. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 to 4 c. Velveeta cheese (cut in sm. pieces)
Prepare macaroni according to directions on box. Drain. In heavy saucepan melt butter. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Do not brown. Stir in milk, salt and pepper. Cook until smooth and thickened. Add cheese and allow to blend in. Combine macaroni with white sauce. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 6.
