Cake: Apple Chip Cake

2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cooking oil
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. chopped apples
1 1/2 c. nuts

Topping:
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. rolled oats

Beat eggs, sugar, butter and oil together.  Stir in flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and vanilla.  Add apples and nuts.  Place in 13x9x2-inch greased pan.  Mix together topping and sprinkle on top of cake.  Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
