2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Frosting:
3 oz. softened cream cheese
1 T. softened margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Beat eggs. Add sugar, oil, vanilla and apples. Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to apple mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour in greased and floured 9x13-inch pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350. Frost with cream cheese frosting when cool.
