Cake: Fresh Apple Cake

3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. chopped apples

Beat eggs and add all ingredients in order.  Start in cold oven.  Bake in 9x13-inch pan at 350 for 1 hour.  Boil together 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup canned milk and 1 stick oleo.  Allow to cool and pour over cooled cake.
