Muffins: Carrot Whole-Wheat Muffins

1 c. whole-wheat flour
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. grated carrots
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. milk
1/4 c. salad oil
1 egg

Mix all ingedients.  Grease 12 muffin cups.  Fill 2/3 full.  Bake at 400 for 20 to 25 minutes.  Loosen edges, turn out, and serve hot.
