2 T. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
Pinch salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix the sugar and butter together well. Add the other ingredients, mixing until well blended. Bake in a 9x13-inch pan at 350 for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. This cake is almost like shortcake. You can use fruit over it like fresh peaches or strawberries. Very good.
