2 T. sugar
3 c. warm water
1 c. white cornmeal
1 c. whole-wheat flour
Stir above together. Build fire in brick oven.
Add:
2 eggs, optional
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. salt
1 c. dry milk
1 more c. whole-wheat flour
Knead. Let rise. Shape into buns and let rise again. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 to 400. Makes 3 dozen.
