Appetizer: Sauerkraut Balls

4 T. margarine
1 onion, chopped finely
1 can Spam, chopped finely
1 clove garlic, chopped finely
4 T. flour
3 c. sauerkraut, drained and chopped
1 T. parsley flakes
1/2 c. sauerkraut juice
Bread crumbs

Saute onions and margarine.  Add Spam and garlic.  Stir in flour and cook thoroughly.  Add sauerkraut, juice and parsley.  This should form a stiff paste; if not, add bread crumbs to mixture.  Chill.  Roll in balls; dip in egg and milk mixture, then bread crumbs.  Deep-fry.
