4 sm. garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
5 kernels whole pepper
3 T. curry powder
3 T. oil
2 lbs. cubed chicken or beef
3 tomatoes, chopped
5 med. potatoes, cubed
1 tsp. salt
1 c. water
Brown garlic, onion, bay leaf and pepper kernels until light brown in oil. Add curry powder and brown. Add meat; when almost done, add cubed potatoes, salt and tomatoes. Simmer until done. Let set for flavor to penetrate. Serve over cooked rice. Serves 6.
