Beverage: Halloween Cider

3 qts. apple cider or juice
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 tsp. whole cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Heat 2 cups cider with sugar and salt, stirring until sugar dissolves.  Pour into slow cooker with remaining cider.  Tie spices in a bag and drop into cider.  Cover and heat on low for 2 to 3 hours.  Remove spices and serve.
