Appetizer: Guacamole

2 ripe avocados, mashed
juice from 2 lemons
2 to 3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
chili powder (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
1 c. sour cream

Additions (any or all of the following):
1 green or red pepper, minced
1 red onion, finely chopped
1 cucumber, chopped
1 to 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1 tomato, diced
1/4 c. olives, chopped
bagels

Combine avocados, lemon juice, garlic, salt, chili powder, pepper and sour cream.  Chill.  Add extra ingredients as desired.  Serve on bagels.

Recipe Note:  We love this as a quick summer meal or picnic.
